Travelers React To SMF’s Twin Towers of Suitcases
By Cintia Lopez
Arriving passengers picking up their luggage in Terminal A of the Sacramento Airport may do a double take. Between two baggage carousels are two 23-foot towers of luggage that reach all the way to the ceiling.
Artist Brian Goggin balanced more than 700 pieces of luggage like Tetris blocks. The pieces range from golf clubs to large animal skin trunks, from musical instrument cases to hat boxes.
Below are photos of the towers, and travelers’ reactions to seeing the unique art piece.
