Teijin Frontier is introducing new seamless knitwear based on bulky fancy yarns featuring new high-performance polyester filaments.

Microft AR fabric is aimed at outdoor sports apparel and combines enveloping warmth and comfort with high functionality.

Highly crimped Deltapeak processed yarns are employed as the core to create a high density loop structure providing bulky heat-insulating performance while preventing fibres from shedding.

A proprietary polyester filament is used for the pile to provide various functionalities. Low gauge seamless knitwear made of the fancy yarn enables Microft AR to provide softness, light weight and warmth, as well as high breathability, moisture absorbency and rapid drying.

Articles made with Microft AR can also be folded down into a very compact size when not in use and the product is made of 100% recycled polyester. The fabric is also said to retain its shape and appearance after repeated washing and long-term wear.
