Join award-winning Sarasota author Liz Coursen for this lecture in celebration of Florida Jewish History month. In this engaging and fast-paced program, Liz will tell the exciting story of how the successful inter-racial and inter-religious collaboration between Chicago philanthropist and CEO of Sears Roebuck Julius Rosenwald and Booker T. Washington, principal of the Tuskegee Institute in Tuskegee, Alabama, set the stage for the modern-day Civil Rights Movement.
